Sell your property without paying the estate agent | Free private property advertising | Private property sales
Just as you want to let potential buyers know that you are serious about selling your property you will also want to qualify that they will not be wasting your time.
Although this can never be guaranteed there are some important questions you may want to ask them.
It is also an idea if possible to get an email address for putting forward or receiving offers. This way the negotiations can run smoother as there is very little risk of either party saying anything rash or impulsive that may ruin the sale being agreed. Furthermore as some people may view the negotiation phase as awkward or intimidating it will give them time to gather their thoughts and respond honestly and accordingly.
Whilst estate agents store additional information such as addresses’ , work and land line telephone numbers, this can be exchanged at a later date if so desired. One of the sensitive issues some sellers and purchasers may have is to protect that information until the right time. Such a process is no different to the way current estate agents handle personal information. (see Data Protection Act).
Once you are confident you have all the information you need all you need do is agree a time to receive the potential purchaser. Again there are a number of points to consider.
DONT FORGET..IF YOU AGREE A SALE YOU MAY HAVE SAVED YOURSELF THOUSANDS!
